You know I was reading around here and I read someone saying that the Tokyo Pop debacle ( the short version is that they are offering contracts that basically say that they own everything that you do for them ) devolved into people saying that Manga Sucks.  And then it being turned into Manga is better than super hero comics. Which to me is a bit stupid, it just seems that a lot of times people either like one or the other and there is no middle ground.

My personal take on it is that I personally have had way too many Manga type comics burning my eyes. I really liked Manga stuff about 7 years ago. When it wasn't constantly in your face, when it wasn't the default of the majority of young artists. Now .... most Manga turns me off. It has to be super cool like Berzerk to make me want to read it or have tons of classic muscle cars like Gun Smith cats.

Honestly I'm pretty bored with the superhero stuff as well, but at least those guys mix it up a bit. I'm just bored with the stories.

What I really like are people that just do their own thing without trying to look like everyone else. I'm just hoping that all the little manga clones grow out of it or get a job with Udon. ( Just kidding : )
