Have any of you bought prescription drugs from Canada ? And if so how did it go? And for the Canadians on my list what are the major pharamcies over in B.C. ? I ask because my meds are pretty damn pricy over here but are cheaper there so we are planning a trip this weekend to get my some meds.

Now for any of you that have been reading for awhile this will come as no surprise, but I an extremely allergic to tree, grass and weed pollen. I'm also very allergic to dust and cat dander. To the point that it pretty much put a huge damper on my life. Come spring time I would feel like I had no energy and I would also get this really crazy dizzy spells that would last for hours sometimes. Occasionally I would also vomit uncontrollably. Here is a post I wrote about it. And it got worse from that point... Until about two years ago I reached a point where I couldn't live like that. I was feeling sick everyday and I'd get dizzy almost every other day. And sometimes I would have to stop working. It sucked.
But the normal allergy symptoms ? They were under complete control. Wanna know why ? Because I was taking medication each and every day. Before that I would almost go through a Kleenex box a day. But in 2002 I started taking Nasacort AQ with Allera D and that helped a lot. I'd still feel like I had the flu somedays but for the most part I was fine until 2004.
So back to what I did in 2 years ago when it got to be too much, I started getting allergy shots each week. I can't tell you how much it helped out. At this point I haven't even started on my drugs yet, ( mainly because I mail ordered them... ) and although I have had a few allergy attacks it hasn't been bad at all. The dizziness also hasn't been much of a problem so far either. I've had a few moments here and there but nothing like it used to be.
Anyway I wrote this because a few of you have been posting about your allergy attacks and I wonder how many of you know that you have to take the medication BEFORE the allergy attack to get the most out of it.
Well that was your public service announcement for today : )
